The KC Fund community softball league for adults with disabilities is played at Aronson Park in Lakeville, one of the things our clients look forward to most every year. Kota fields 2 of the league’s 8 teams. There is no requirement to be part of Kota Connections to play.
The league plays at Aronson Park in Lakeville. Games are recreational, mixed-skill, and built around having fun and being part of a team. Anyone who wants to play is welcome to register. There is only one level of play and everyone plays against each other. There are 8 teams in the league, and all games are played with a softer “incrediball” instead of a hard softball.
Teams have shared bats; each player receives a helmet and a bag. Need more? Reach out to the league.
The season runs from late April (weather permitting) to early August. Games are typically held on Tuesdays at 6:15 PM and 7:30 PM. The schedule and any cost details are released closer to the start of the season, after registration closes.
Registration is open to current Kota clients and to community members who want to join. Fill out the registration form below or call us with questions. We will follow up with details on practices, schedule, and what to expect for the first game.
No. Anyone with a disability is eligible to play, regardless of being with Kota Connections or not.
Recreational and mixed-skill. We welcome players who have never picked up a bat as well as players with years of experience, and we work with each player to find the right place in the league.
